Do you guys think this will work??

I use Aragonite (CaribSea) Reef Sand. It is much more of a crushed coral than sand. I bought the Tigger Pods that come in an 8oz refrigerated jug. My clown has yet to munch on them but the pseudo immediately started chomping on the adult tiggers that were visible.

So, Im wondering if these things will colonize and have baby pods? Going camping this weekend, I was thinking of a sustainable food source on which my fish could forage, and it dawned on me that these things might not like my substrate.

Any opinions or experience with these little tiggers?

Yes But don't worry about feeding a few days with out food will not harm anything actualy it will help.. Let them peck and clean up their room :) Most feed their tanks to death anyways . I did not feed my tank for 4 days this week. I do that every so often I think they got a pinch lastnight ?

I'll go 3 or 4 days without feeding mine too and they swim right next to the glass and look at me. The Foxface is always looking for munchies and the goby puts everything he can in his mouth even when it's way too big. I did give them a treat today of a piece of king crab leg I had in the freezer They went Ape S!@T over it! The anemone enjoyed a chunk too. First thing it's eaten in about a week. He's(it, lol) doing great too!

I need to write more succinct posts. I wanted to focus on Tigger Pods yet for some reason I started ranting about going way for the weekend and I turned the post into a "How often should I feed my fish" symposium! ;D

Anyway, I agree with everyone about feeding. I have fed the fish once since I got them 4 days ago, and the clown was eating SOMETHING last night! I have no idea what it was but good for him.

So does anyone have experience with the Tigger Pods? When I put them in, I put 6 drops in my LR Rubble compartment in the back of my BioCube so they could reproduce in there free of predation. I kept the epump off for an hour so they could get situated.

I also dropped them in the display part of the tank AT NIGHT so hopefully my fish didn't get to them before they hit the ground.

Anyone have experience with the tiggers?? They are very cool to watch!

They should be able to reproduce if they're given enough hiding spots in order to do so. I dumped a bottle of Tigger Pods and Roti-Pods into my tank but I put them in the refugium. I have yet to go down in the basement to see if they've gone forth and multiplied but I don't know why they wouldn't have.

Well you made it sound like you added them to feed your fish for a few day while you where gone thats why I mentioned hell for just a few day's I would have not worried about them eating,, Sorry if I misunderstood your question/statement..
