Okay, my tank has been running for 2 weeks now. I began with 60 #'s of fully cycled live rock (from a local established tank) and some live sand from the same tank. It appeared to have a mini ammonia spike (that is now 0), nitrites went up to 1.0 and are now nearly zero and nitrates are at 5 (after being much higher) as of yesterday's tests. A good amount of little clumps of green algae has started to grow on the glass, sand and powerheads in the past 3 days. Also, the coraline that came on the live rock is starting to appear on the powerheads (I was surprised at this happening so quickly).

Should I leave this algea alone or scrub it off the glass?
Is it time for my cleanup crew?

You can scrub it off the glass (and probably should) because it will only limit your visibility into the tank and become an eyesore. Plus if you let it go too long it will just get harder and harder to scrub off. I dont think it'd be a bad idea at all to start getting together your CUC.
