well, here is the deal: the only decent way of getting rid of ich is hypo salinity ! Do not use any medication because anything available on the market has negative effects as well.

Take all the inverts you have and place them in a small tank at normal (usual for your tank) salinity. The inverts will certainly die on hypo salinity.
Your fish will be OK all the way to 1.009 if you do it gradually. Every day replace water from your tank with RO/DI water, enough to lower the salinity with 0.002. It takes around 3 to 4 weeks to get your tank cleared up. From that point follow the same approach to increase salinity.

Finally, you learned your lesson and anything you add to your tank you will be quarantined !

I would be almost impossible for me to remove all 100+ snails and hermit crabs burrowed in the sand. Also, doing hypo in the main tank would kill most my life on the live rock and all my copepods.

I had to do the same thing - removed all 6 of my fish into quarantine and treated with copper. I used a 30 gallon tank for this, and used a sponge filter along with an emperor with biowheel. In spite of the filtration, it was a real challenge dealing with they ammonia and nitrites in the first 2 weeks. This is because there is no biological filtration, and a heavy fish load. So you will need to do heavy water changes, like 50% every 2 days. Treat with copper for 203 weeks (I used Seachem cupramine) - it is the surest way to get rid of ich.

Once you are done with the copper, do heavy water changes to fully get rid of the copper, and run carbon. At that point, you can add a nitrogen-compound de-toxifier to your water (like Prime or AZNO3) and will not have to do water changes as often. Keep your DT fallow for 8 weeks to fully eliminate the parasite.

I am currently on week 6 of this with my own system, and has worked well so far, although I hit a snag this morning with my hawkfish jumping out of my tank this morning. But other than that, happy with the result so far. CERTAINLY happier than the results I was getting with garlic, selcon, and Kick Ich.

    Just my 2 cents.

The ich has been on my fish for almost 2 weeks now. They are still eating but are not showing any signs of recovering or getting rid of the ich. Is it uncommon for ich to stay on a fish for 2 weeks?

Have you tried adding a cleaner shrimp,I mean if they are all eating and other wise doing o.k., why stress them out? My shrimp have removed ich, as well as parasites on my tang. good luck I know its very frustrateing.

Yeah, I have a cleaner shrimp. My yellow tang is eating but I wouldn't say he is acting normal he's always hiding and he doesn't cruise around the tank like he did before the ich outbreak.
