I love the Zep and other classic bands. The Zepplin DVD set is awesome. There was one show on there from '75 that they played in a little outdoor amphitheater that blew my mind. what energy.

    But these days...

hmm.. what am I listening to.. you'll probably hate it...

Peaches (she is the most punk rock thing going to me right now - flips c*ck rock around)

The Shins (actually not listening to them at the moment but I was for months - reminds me of the Beatles in their song writing and composing. Don't kill me. They are truly talented and spend a long time making their albums. They take it seriously. )

30 Seconds to Mars - their last album anyway.

Iron & Wine - really mellow rock. Very good.

Queens of the Stone Age - kinda hard - seeing them soon in San Francisco.

Fu Manchu - don't like their new album as much as some of their old stuff, but their marshall amp fuzzy guitar sound is tops.

    Pop:
New Young Pony Club - their new album reminds me of those good pop songs from the 80's.

    Women that wail:
Joss Stone can sing and she is hot. :) I especially like Mind, Body & Soul.
Jill Scott. Gonna see her in Oakland in February. That should be fun. :)
Amy Winehouse - she may be 'Dazed & Confused' right now - but she has mad skillz. From a different era.

    Tech:
    LCD Soundsystem
    M.I.A.
    Aphrodite
J-Boogie (more downbeat - cool mix of musical influences)
UK Bass Radio - streaming - better than coffee

I am all over the road. :drive:

Yeah, I guess I should have figured that out. LOL, Sometimes I get a little opinionated, could you tell! :-[

I don't mean to say that there isn't good music out there cause there is, lots of it. But there is awful lot of it out there that is just noise too, IMO

Holly Crap, I haven't heard that name mentioned in a boatload of years, is she still around? I saw her way back in the Runaways Day's with Joan Jett.
used to be one hot looking babe,;D and one hell of a "basics" guitar player!

"Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac". That was Mac at its best. Amazing band. They say that had this band continued it would have most probably been another Zepellin, if not better. Too bad Peter Green did too much of the drug thing.
