yeah, I agree about the maintainence stuff. I got 10 gal of saltwater and 10 of fresh for top offs.

What that really means is that nobody else is VA is getting anything. GTS took them all!!::)

Seriously, I am getting ready for vacation and dont want to add anything to the tank right now anyway

Time to get stuff now before marine shipping really starts slowing down during December and January. :)

David Turner makes a valid point...the shipping for marine items in the winter will slow down some

Returned the LFS again today and ended up buying a 20gallon long to start my sump project. This hobby is gonna empty my wallet for every penny i got lol

wow.....some of those guys on that thread have really sunk their money into their tanks! i know it is an addicting hobby but I don't think have spent quite that much yet even though my expenses will keep going up. I love the hobby too much to just give it up or quit b/c I can't get something the way I want it lol I try to spend my $ in this hobby on stuff I can have for a while and not the cheap products that I have to keep spending money on over and over. I'm sure a lot of people have fell into this fault or had impulse buys before and it all gets the best of us. But i think we can all agree to say that craftsmanship, quality, performance, and value all dictate a product and a lot of those products that have a nice price tag to go w/ 'em are normally worth it in the long run
