You should definately hang the chili coral. Otherwise it's tissue sits on itself during the day as shown in one of your pics. Hopefully it's attached to some rubble so you can easily superglue it in the cave. They like pretty good water circulation as well.

You might want to look at this thread for a new target feeding device. http://www.3reef.com/forums/showthread.php?p=318290#post318290

Hehe, i actually have a that target feeder, but I guess where I was confused is that its easy to target feed the things I have been feeding (anemone) since they have a mouth and sticky cells to grab the food..with the corals (especially the chili coral) I wasn't sure how to target feed them as I was concerned that by "blowing" the phyto on them that it would make it close up its polyps.

As for the nudibranch, I don't know if its actually eating algae, but it does "appear" to be. Unfortunately this was an impulse buy and I felt the guy at my LFS that I bought it from did know what he was talking about...but maybe he didn't and maybe the nudibranch isn't actually eating the algae, but cleaning it off as it passes over it on the glass, overflow box etc. I also often see it on my GSP which I have heard that SOME nudi's will eat...but no signs of the GSP being eaten.

The chili coral is attached to a small piece of rubble so I can definately hang it, but I don't think it will "fit" in my cave area...at night when the polyps extend the chili coral is HUGE...a good 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall....the cave isn't that big...is it possible to frag this coral? hard to re-attach the fragged piece to a rock?

    Thanks for everyones comments,
    Mike
