where were you 45 mins ago sparky? lol. its a done deal. i used a beer stien , and poured it barely above the old substrate . worked like a charm , but i dont think im drinkin outta that glass tonight. that is a very clever idea tho. i will put it to use when i add more to the mantis tank. its CC , and want to replace half the tank with sand. i wil llet you know how it works.

I think the cup idea is great! Jwin wants to add some sand to his mantis tank and will have to try that. Guy, can I borrow your beer stien?

 

sure you can , do i have to wash it too? lol. and i guess you'll want an elegance coral too?

 

Just put the elegance coral in the stien (unwashed), some tank water, nice box, packing materials, heat pack......think I can acclimate it in the stien?
