Looks like you've done your homework! Good job!

Get an API basic test kit for your cycle, then either a red sea, hanna or slifert nitrate, cal, mag, ph/alk, and phosphate kit

A good RODI unit is a must as well as a good refractometer, 2 18 gallon tubs, an extra heater and powerhead for water changes. and an extra aquarium for a hospital tank.

yeah a tub is like $7 at walmartl. IMO, just for emergency its always best to have about 10g of rodi water on the ready. Now you want that in a RODI only tub so it doesn't grow stuff, then you switch that water to your WC bucket.
Then in that you need a power head and heater to get that water to as close to DT params's possible. The bonus of having all these extra $7 tubs is, if your tank starts to crash, you have options. And if these are filled with water already you can save yourseft tons of lost livestock and corals. Just a small investment for a nice afety net.

Edit, its a good idea to have 2 heaters in your tank if your temp fluctuates at all, and a good idea to have one in your water change. And the extra powerhead lets ya mix the salt for 24 hours. JUst get chepos for this, or a good one that will double as a pump to aid in water changes.

Thats a def good system, or buckeyefieldsupply.com has a 75gpd system for about $150 i think, or the best is spectra pure.com they have a refurb system for a deal now thats $150ish shipped.

But DO NOT USE TAP WATER and if ya do, you aren't allowed to complain about diatoms or cyano! Deal? lol Even though you'll still get diatoms

Also join a BRS group buy and buy all those kits, your RODI unit , relacent DI resin, etc and save a ton of cash.
