Screw Pepps, I had 3 of them and they damaged alot of my coral (favia, lobo, palys etc...). Funny how people always ask if it's a camelback shrimp, IMO those 2 species look nothing alike.

I, too, bought a couple of peppermint shrimp to rid my tank of aptasias. In just a few weeks, my feather dusters and my flower anemone vanished. Also, with the peppermint and the skunk cleaner, anytime I target-fed a coral, I'd have to cover it with a net to keep the shrimp from stealing its food.

I now only have a coral banded shrimp. He doesn't bother anything; he just roams around cleaning the tank.

Yeah, I'll never buy them ever again for the same reasons as above. I've learned to use berghia nudis for aiptasia & "STOP Aiptasia" (by ChemMarin) for Manjanos. You inject the Manjanos/Aiptasia with this stuff ^ its reef safe.
I'm buying some berghia for aiptasia at the beginning of next month. If anyone is interested in a group buy, PM me!

I had a problem with peppermints (definitely Lysmata genus) tearing food out of LPS polyps after the coral had eaten as well. I don't think I'll get them again, or I will used them for aiptasia control and then sump them once the problem is gone. They did work well on the aiptasia control though.

I tried keeping them fed, feeding them before the coral etc but they would always go after the LPS. I sumped them.

They will eat what ever doesn't get eaten or falls to the ground.
