time wasters grrrrr

    So you know i was selling the tank and all this is the story.

    They agreed to pay the money, and i took down the tank which took 2 hours, gave them instructions, and they left to Wachovia to get more money for it.

    After it took 2 hours(which i told them it would be a while) and i did it by myself. TOld them they are getting a great deal. They tell me they are hungery and going to get food, they never came back...and i now had to go to Nemos and drop of the fish and Debbie is being very kind and taking my coral while i get my tank back up and running.


    I have called them over and over and have texted them, they are not responding. My dad has done a few things, soo im hoping that my tank will survive until it is sold.

    I just wanted to share thsi with you guys.

    Sorry to hear this experience. Do not let it get you down on people. Maybe have them give you a deposit before you break the tank down again.

    Thats what i am going to do that.

    Although, being a 15 year old i am not a very good salesman and all of that.

    Well on thing is for sure if you dont have a deposit people fee l they can take advantages of any deal. I was a sales manager for 10 years and my boss always said time kills all deals and without a deposit they are shopping! Its true he is a salesman and I am not talking salesman talk but deposit would have helped. People stink for sure no need to swear about it but they stink. I had 4 buyers on my sons 150 when he sold it before I took it down with deposits in line with all knowing ahead of time. Good luck with the sell friend.

    same deal on used cars, people come, look, kick the tyres? and then say they will go away to think about it

    they walked away and got cold feet in the mean time

    next time, dont bother with a deposit, just dont remove a gallon of water from the tank until you have seen the money
