Well I went to the lumber store last friday and got two timers for my lights and already their skippin an hour a day. How about the Coralife timers. Any one use those? I am very cheap and know they have some with PH probes and all the gadgetry for 400 bux but the coralife is only 25 or so but are they worth it?

They are fine with PC's and T5's but will blow up if used with a halide

I use 2 coralife digital timers. One my MH sunpod is on and the other is for the lunar lights. Every 6 months to a year they usually fail and yo do have to get a new one. They can trip very easily so you have to reset the clock and timer settings. PetSmart always has them.

Sounds like you just didn't adjust the timers for Daylight Savings Time. That's why they skipped. Coralife is hit and miss with me. I have had a good one and a bad one. But lots of people use them with great success.

I am using x10 modules for my light timers and control switches. Not much more money and so far have been very reliable

I bought two of these three years ago at HD and they have been working flawlessly since. I use them to power my MH 175W each and two powerheads. They are rated up to 1000w So it will last a long time and it is programable the full seven days digital as well so no skipping of time. The best part is that they are $19.97 each

I have had 2 digital coralife timers and 1 analog. They were all crap.

The digitals (one was to replace the other), both of them would completely reset (blinking 12:00 and all) every 4-8 days. Junk.

The analog one would just stop. I'd have to give it a little twist every few days to get it going again. Junk.

So I got SunDial lights with built in timers ;D They're flawless.
