    Wow, I didn't know so many timers failed so often. It seems to me you would probably save money in the long run just getting a controller. You can get an Aquacontroller Junior for $225 (free shipping) and just take care of it all at once plus have better control over your system and not have to worry about it.
    If you're replacing 2 timers every 6 months that's $100 a year in timers at least. Some people have more than 2 timers on their systems as well which means the controller would pay for itself much more quickly.
