    thanks for info we have read today that the nudibranch chelidonura varians are good at getting rid of these worms anyone had any. Kath

    The problem with those nudis is that they get sucked into powerheads and overflows before they have a chance to do any good. They also die when they run out of flatworms to eat. The best thing you can do at this point is keep sucking them out and prevent algae (which the flatworms eat). Keep your water clean and eventually, the amount of flatworms should diminish. If they get to plague proportions, you could consider treating your tank with Salifert's Flatworm Exit.

    PS. You can also increase water flow in the area where you see the worms congregating. If they can't hold on to the glass, rock or substrate, they can't feed on the algae that grows there. :)
