    Was wondering were I can purchase the real small starfish that I have seen from time to time in my live fish store but he is out. Does anyone know were I can get any online.

    Are they the ones with short and stubby legs, maybe the size of a dime max, that are on the glass?

    If not, describe them.

    if your talking about asterina, there is now way you want nor need to buy them

    yeah they are little and always on the glass. are these bad for your tank?

    No, i have about a thousand of them everywhere..hahaha.....jk jk..but i HAVE ALOT...and they dont hurt anything.

    They arent typically bad, but you certainly dont need to buy them. They come with live rock.

    The asterina with 7 legs are known to eat coral. Matt has a thread on them with pics showing the trail one blazed across one of his Monti's. If you are wanting micro and mini bristle stars you can find them here.

    Its hit or miss with them.. I have some that have been eating my zoa's... They didn't used to. But now I try and pick them out when I can.. So just be carful with them.
