Look do not feed the tank for a few days or a week put some meat in this trap and it takes like 3 mins to catch a fish now you may have to trap 3 or 4 at once to get the one you want But hey its easy to catch them out of water and put the ones you want back in the tank.. Simple to build if you have acrylic skills and cheap to buy if you value your time and aquarium.

lol take a metal rod that you can buy from the depot (pref steel) sharpen it and tie a rubber band to the back. Start your feeding process and turn off the lights in the background so he cant see you comign for him. Take aim and bam your fish will be evicted!

Lol jk, fish are different. I had a puffer that was insanely hard to catch, I tried a whole mess of things, but finally got him when he was sleeping, ive learned that fish are slower at night when then calm down and hide/sleep on rocks that there easier to catch. try the hermit crab clear mini cage that you get from the lfs, fish with food and tie string to it, ive seen that work. GL with the food and net thing, be quick like a grasshopper! I agree with tangster on this, i love my fish but there dumb, starve the tank and catch them all in a small trap!
