lol those would be fine if I had a small truck ;);D;)
I was thinking more of the Goodyear eagle Gt, or the Nitto Neogen tire dimensions are 225/50/17

You mentioned rain, but did not say anything about snow. Unless you drive often in the snow or freezing temps, all season tires are way to big sacrifice imho. They give up too much in order to be better in snow/cold.

For just awesome normal traction and _GOOD_ rain traction, you can go with ultra performance summer tires.

    Ultra Perf Summer:

Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (great tire and long lasting, 340AA, had them on my car, loved them)

Continental ExtremeContact DW (another great tire, a little more sticky but does not last as long, slightly softer sidewall)

    Max Perf Summer:

Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position (about the best tire you can get. Extremely good performance and does not cost as much as Michelin Pilot Sports. Exceptional handling but will not last as long as RE760)

All of the above handle perfectly fine in the rain. Unless it's a 33 degree rain :) But even then, if you just drive like an average normal person without trying to run corners hard or speed in standing water, i can't possibly imagine them having an issue.

If driving in snow, cold is a must:
Continental ExtremeContact DWS, best all-season tire there is right now

i used to have a 2006 acura tl and i had the fuzion tires, they were the more expensive ones, i think they maxed out at 195mph..they were sick..i cant remember the type, but they carry 2 different kinds, ones is a decent tire but the other one is a high performance race tire..i think they were like 190-220 a piece..

Id go with the nittos personally. I never had good longevity with any good year tire. Hankooks don't balance well, puncture easily and are known for tread separation.

oops, I was getting the RDX confused with the TSX. NM! :)

IME goodyear tires are crap. Same as poster above stated. I really like michelins. We have them on all our cars/motorcycles. ;) I've never had experience with the Japanese brands, but I imagine they are pretty good too.
