To add more rock, that is the question?

I love my tank and my aquascape but at times I want to fill in the middle portion of it with lots more LR. The main thing I hate is that it will most likely be with base rock as I can't afford any live rock right now & I'll have to go slow as not to cause another cycle. I hate the stark white contrast of BR to my LR. Hmmmm, should I or shouldn't I?

If I did, how much should I add at a time to keep from having a mini-cycle?

Here's the newest pics of my tank I have:

I think your tank is absolutely gorgeous! However, if it was my tank, I would add more rock to the middle, because I like the look of rock. I see what you're saying about the contrast in color between the rocks, but I think the base rock should change color pretty quickly in your tank.

heyyyy KC, thx, you always say such nice things bout' my tank, much appreciated. Yes, I think I may have to look at how much BR I have laying around, I have huge pieces but need to break them down. I scour locally for cheap LR too but sometimes I worry that you get unwanted pests and then I'd kick myself for messing yknow :).

I think it looks pretty good like it is right now....
maybe what you could do to avoid some of that contrast is to buy all the rock you are going to put in there, but just add it pretty slowly. not all at the same time..
that way you give it some time to grow algae and coralline..
    but thats just an option..

you could always leave it like it is... which IMO looks amazing

Thx much, yes I'm toying with the idea of adding slowwwwwly, I just get soooo impatient. You know us reefers :). Our tanks are like our own little personal works of art
