Hey all been a awhile since the lasst time that I posted anything. So hello all!!

Anywho I am looking to get some advice and see if I am getting a good deal on some corals. I found a guy that is breaking down his tank and selling off alot of his corals. I am looking to pick up a 8" Green Lobo brain coarl, Large toadstool, Frog spawn with 11 heads, a zoa colony with 4 differnt types of zoas on there looking at about 200 + heads and a large colony of neon green star polyps.

I am getting all that for $140 bucks, but I just wanted to get another opinon to see if I am getting a pretty good deal or am i driving out of my way for nothing.

    Thank you!!!

You will probably spend more than that for the lobo elsewhere. Great deal if they are in good shape.

You want to make sure the Lobo does not have pests as mentioned and you want to see as few spines from the skeleton poking through the flesh. When you pick up the coral make sure that it is bagged after you get there and that you gently cause the coral to deflate. This needs to be done with all LPS especially the ones with large polyps to prevent the polyp from tearing free from the skeleton. Do not touch any of the flesh as this can cause the spines to poke through it. Make sure the coral does not move around during transportation to prevent injury from occurring.

Hey everyone i just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all the responses. I ended up picking up all the coral last night. The green Lobo looked great when i got there i didnt see anything poking thru and looked pest free. It looked nice and fat. The frogspawn ended up having 14 plus heads on it. The zoes look great as well. I will post some picture tommorrow for everyone.
