yeah! we are going ahead with the purchase! looks like we are going to take the livestock to the lfs so that I can take my time setting everything up once we get the system moved. so far I am planning on putting a dryer type access panel in the wall behind the location of the tank so that I can utilize my basement for RO/DI water storage for topoff and keep mixed saltwater down there for water changes. I want to have the cabability to pump it up to the tank so that I do not have any large containers around the house. (Keep wifey happy) also im in the process of adding some structural stability to the floor joists under the tanks new location.

Awesome! Congrats. Having a station for your ro/di and saltwater is a good idea. Makes it nice that you don't have to lug everything every time you need to use it. Congrats again and can't wait for more pics and a build thread.

Bulkreefsupply 5 stage ro/DI unit is here and I spent last night adding support pillars under my house to the affected floor joists. Going to capture the livestock tomorrow and take them To Lfs. The tank tear down and move process will be on Sunday. I'll try to get a build thread going with all of the excitement!

+1 to remote sump. If I could I most definitely would. All I can say is things would be a lot quieter if I did.
