To buy or not to buy

so there is an ad on craigslist for a biocube 29, stand, rock, fish ect ect. all for $300 cdn. i was thinking about getting a frag tank going so and this would be a better fit. i already have a biocube 29 and like it alot. besides the max i think it is the best tank to fit my needs. what do ya think. ohhh and i havent worked in a month! got canned

 

whats the lighting like?


edit: are you hurting for money? some people have enough money saved up that they can go years with out a job while they are looking.

lights on the biocube are 10000k and attinic. 34 watts each. pc. tank would only be used for softies.

 

how many pc's i know that some of the cubes have upgrade options.

 

just one of each. the thing is i look for tank everyday on CL and i rarley come across the biocubes worst come to worst i could just sell it, and i think i could make a couple hundred easy. i may be wrong.

not hurting for money but i aint rich i could get a job tom but i am taking an extened vaction.

 

ehh the lighting killed it for me, i would want three bulbs. i would pass

 

one thing i took me for years to learn in this hobby is get the exact thing you want, don't buy something just because you get the itch and don't cut corners
this is the only way to avoid regretting a purchase.

 

Yeah the lighting SUCKS. Might not get much growth out of frags, they can take a while to take off under pc.

 

I would pass. Man, $300 is a lot these days. Get employed first before expanding. Listen to Uncle John and Uncle Luna.
