    I think that's horrible advice, there are many ways to catch a fish without injuring and traumatizing it.

    yea it was an option, not one I think I could do though. Like I said he was pet I wouldn't want to hurt the poor guy, bad enough he is all stressed after being netted.

    My snowflake eel would be very easy to catch since it wanders a lot. Congratulations on catching it.
