So i have a 55 and im placing a rather large order for
    1 frogspawn (2 head)
    1 elegance (Aussie)
    1 Xenia
    1 ORA toadstool
    1 Hulk Acan
    1 Birdsnest
    1 Torch

this will make my tank full of corals and alot of them i read should be fed marine snow. I dont know what that is so im here to ask if anyone suggests this with my about to be new stock.

Also if anyone can give me info on the birdsnest i would appreciate it.

You could jest feed fish food to them. I have never got coral food I jest feed my corals pellets.

As far as actually the feeding the corals, you can if you'd like, but it's certainly not necessary. Some people have reported better coloration and increased growth rates with weekly/monthly feedings of coral.

If you do choose to feed your corals, Marine Snow or other liquid formulas should be good for SPS. I would be more likely to spot feed LPS with a frozen and/or pellet food. For these, try Coral Frenzy, Reef Chili, or Marin Fauna LPS Pellets.

I was unsure at first as well.

On the subject of actually 'dosing' (the big three), this will depend on your weekly parameters as well as the number of total corals in your tank. But of course as you obtain more frags/colonies and they grow out, you will have to dose more often.

Moby Duck, the birdsnest (if pink, purple, or, green polyp) will appreciate high flow levels and moderate-high light levels. If it is a birds of paradise (green tissue, purple polyps) I would place it in moderate flow, and the same lighting. I would not feed this coral unless you want to do a liquid food, weekly.

Thanks seano, I just wasn't sure I should feed with there being so many corals.

The birds nest I'm getting is called a screaming green birdsnest. It's a brown stalk with neon green/blue polyps. I can't decide between that or a garf bonsai acro. Would they have the same requirements??

Don't feed your corals unless you are at <5 nitrate and .1 or lower phosphate. If you haven't achieved these levels then any coral food you add will add to an already existing waste problem and will cause more harm than good.
