Ok I have been doing some searching (ok lots of searching and reading) as to the lights. I was going to save up some money to purchase a set from RAPIDLED and DIY. But since I really dont have a place to do it (well I do but it will be more difficult) I figured I tried to buy a prebuilt one.

Today I came upon this Chinese company, www.eshinesystems.com that quoted me (from an email) " The price of our CREE 60W is US$185/pc with 1 cable and 1 timer, and US$195 with 2 cables and 2 timers." They also will ship it out in 3-5 business via DHL. OCreef sells them for $359: http://www.ocreef.com/ocreef_xp-e_a..._aquarium_light_with_3_watt_high_intensity_le

The only real thing I didnt see is that it didnt come with a dimmable switch like OCreef sells them for (waiting for a response from them to see what they state.)

The attachment that the company sent me in the email is to big to attach(pdf file...5 mags worth pretty impressive with the amount of pictures they sent)
From the PDF file they sent me: The new upgraded CRee 60W Pro Version uses cree 3W XPG, XPE, or XRE LEDS, so people could choose any one of them for the ligh as different mark need, but the pricing is no different.

The new Cree 60W pro version is thinner in size, but use more thicker and denser aluminum heat sinks to solve the heat disspation, The new cree 60W Pro version use cutting-edge raised optics instead of previous flat optics. Also the new version doesnt have scews on the surface of the housing.

I would rather go with a proven unit like BOOST's. Let us know how it goes

Shipping is pretty steep. Talked to one guy there and for the aquamaster unit, it was going to be about $110. But the prices look good otherwise. Maybe this could be a group buy opportunity and negotiate cheaper unit cost and shipping.

All I have to say is, for 399, get an AI Sol. A much better fixture in terms of what you can control and the sheer power of the thing, and it has US tech support since they are based here.

I love boost led, but with the recent price drop on the AI Sol, they are gonna have to rethink their pricing on their mu light.

Ahhh I wasnt told that in the email...but still it is a little cheaper than OCreef Price

Yeah it would be nice to get those, unless I can get away with 3 of them then I unfortunately wont be able to afford it, Dont get me wrong I do like quality items, I just dont know if I need the best...Unless I start taking up a donation :)

It would be nice if they did come down in price.

I talked to an eshine guy last night, and supposedly you cant even buy this if you don't have a US wholesaler license. Now, could you probably get around that? Yes. But just saying...the prices reflect that, and the shipping is direct from china, in what they assume is large quantities.

The AI has equal spread to pa as thisr. I read someone on here who had the eshine light and hated it. Said it couldn't even grow SPS directly under it.
