    I may not have read it all the way through before firing off a response either.
    I would still say, clean it if it becomes too much and the life can't balance it self. Or leave it if the tank manages it.

    Back when I was running Pure Berlins I found out that a Diatom was a must. You may want to check into them ? A small one is all you need I have both sizes here .. Actualy I think anyone with aquariums should have one on hand at all times . Great for blasting off the Rocks and getting the stuff out of the water also great for sump cleanings
