Hey - I use the same skimmer. I'll be home tonight at 6pm eastern - PM me if you wish and I'll toss you my number...been using the super skimmer for years and will probably be able to help you out via the telephone.

As said, you can't have "too much" bubbles. I force my air in through an ozinator via an air pump at full blast. The red "adjustment" nozzle needs to be adjusted so that the top of the bubbles are at the bottom of the colleciton cup. From there the crap will begin to grow and eventually flow into your cup.

You may also need to lower your pump, I think about 5 inches below the surface and it works best -- if its only a couple that might be the problem, I can't tell from your pics.

yea it does have a knob to turn it down... it also has a ball valve off the pump... but i turn the knob all the way down and the ball valve off the pump is all the way on and the bubles still keep coming... then i mess with the ball valve off the pump and it doesnt produce enough bubbles... i keep messing with the inlet and outlet and i just cant seem to work... should i turn it on full blast for the hour then unplug it for the hour?

do you have the correct pump rated for that skimmer? if so, have the output of the pump open all the way and have the output of the skimmer open all the way. slowly close the skimmer output until the desired level in the skimmer is accomplished. the skimmer output shouldnt have any restrictions other than the valve.
