To much flow for brain?

I have had my brain for two weeks now and i have not seen its feeding tenticles come out, except for one time and that was like the second day but i didnt have any coral food at the time.

For the first few days it was totally deflated but i noticed at night it would inflate, but now after two weeks of it being in my tank i have noticed it staying inflated almost all day.

Reason why i ask if i have to much flow because its constantly moving around, kind of reminds me of jello. So if i do have to much flow could this be making it unhappy, or is my light source provide enough food?

For flow i have a vortech mp20, maxijett 1200, and my HOB skimmer. For light i have 4x39 t5ho tek and the brain is placed on the sandbed

Well Mrs. Puffer, it is quite possible you may have a bit too much flow for him. Or your TEK is providing enough light needed for him to quite happily live off of

TEK's rule, simple as that.
