I just picked this frag up from my LPS and put it in my tank. I've been wondering if my Koralia 1 and 3 are too much flow for my tank and this will really be the test.

    Here are some videos:

If I should move my Xenia where to? Where should I position my powerheads? I'm sorry to ask this stuff but I am about to throw the 3 out the door I am so frustrated.

    Thanks.

Alrighty well my tank also has been looking cloudy ever since I added the Koralia 3 and I think it is because of it. Like it is always causing the substrate to be blown about the tank.

I'm turning it off for now until I can find a solution.

Thats we had to do with ours.. We have the same one running in our tank.. It was blowing the sand around making the tank look foggy and cloudy.. We just aimed it upwards and it worked out well.. just be careful.. Ours broke off the stem that attaches it to the megnett part.. We had to glue it back to gether.. Works great now ;D...

How big is your tank? Did you have a 3 and 1 running and do you point it high enough to make the top of your water all crazy?

We have a 26gal. bow front. The top of our water has consistent movement but not to crazy.. We have model 1 located on one side of the tank at the top, but its closer to the back and we have it pointed towards the back side of the rocks in a downward motion. (I hope that makes sense). We have it slightly pointed to the back side of the rocks so it does not disturb our sand. We have model 3 located on the other side of the tank half way down the glass and we have it slightly pointed towards the front and up.. If that makes sense.. I would take a pic to show you but my lights are off for the night.. Its sleepy time for every one.. Also, we took off the flow director on 3.. We noticed that the flow was spread out better when we did this.. I hope this all makes sense for you.. :\ This turned out harder to explain then I thought it would.. :) Let me know if it helps..

Yeah it helps a lot thank you! If you could post the pic on here whenever you get the chance I would really appreciate it.

So you dont think that the Xenia is getting too much flow?
