To much flow.....

I think i might have TO much flow, lol never thought this was possible until i put my mj1200 with the 2100gph mod in my 55 frag tank, the flow is insane......

 

super radical insane, or insane in the membrane?

 

i think both...+100 its ridic i love it lol, now the panther and the tomato, yea not so much funny watching them struggle

 

If it is too much direct flow, try putting a rock or object in front of the MJ to deflect and disperse the flow a little..

 

so would this be a no go situation for us interested in this maxi mod in the future?

 

i had 2 koralia 4 1200gph in my 55 gallon reef.. it was cool until i realized my corals werent opening up all the way. took one out and it was perfect.

 

I put a rock in front of the head works great its better then having 3 hydor k2s thats for sure!!!


and i would recomend this mod its amazing well worth the money

 

Yeah I added another koralia 1 for a total of two, in my 16g and my clown got beat up and my Xenia shriveled. So I took it out. oops

 

lol, well i have just the one modded mj, but i might take it out and add it to the 180(which currently has a mj1200 with mod, two tunzes 6045, and 3000+gph from the return) bud im not sure yet, bc im taking the two k2s and putting them in the 29 and i still have some mj1200s and a k4 i could throw in the frag tank
