I have my original 10 gal reef and my 20 gallon frag tank set up right next to each other as the picture below shows.
I am currently running a 80 watt CF over the 19 and a 96 watt T5 with a single flat reflector over the 20.

I have purchased 2 - 48" T5 retro light assemblies and want to use them on both tanks. Each light has
2 - 54 watt bulbs in them for a total of 216 watts with single reflectors for each bulb. These will eventually
go into my hood over my 75 along with 1 more fixture just like them.

I am going to be keeping some SPS in the frag tank that will eventually go into my 75. In fact I already have
a small green Monti frag and a real nice pink/purple thin branch birds nest in the tank, both of which are doing
    great now.

My thinking is since they are going to be straddling both tanks I figure the 10 will have about 40% of the light
or 86 watts and the 20 will have 50% or 130 watts. Am I right in this assumption? and is this to much light
    or not enough light.

I dont see your current set up as a problem. If it where MH, then I would see an aggressive lighting set up. Your fine buddy(IMO)
