    hello folks!

so little did you know that i am now the happy owner of 2 skunkers 1 6 line wrasser and 2 cute Amphiprion Percula clownfish (will get them a bubble tip anemon home when shipments start moving again in september.) now i bought me 2 clowns and noticed at home that one (the smaller male) had its tail damaged probably in a fight for position, the bigger female is absolutely beautiful and shows no sign of inperfection. i have been doing some research and it seems that these clown do reproduce in captivity but that usually the breeding "team" is composed of one dominant female (enjoy this ladies), the second in command ie the slightly smaller male, and 4 small non breeding members. now my question is this, will my 2 love birds mate in my 180 l tank even if they are just them 2 or do they need more space/ non breeding members to......persuade them?

I've honestly never heard anything like that, except from the LFS that was trying to make sales. Typically, you only put 2 juveniles together to get a mated pair. Period. Any more than that will just create fighting, possibly to the death, if a pair do mate up.
