Pam here bytheseasoaps and I've just joining your group.

I have fallen in love with a coral that was given to me from Andros Island, Caribbean, Bahamas. It looks like a flower blossom and I was hoping someone here might know the common name or the scientific name of the coral.

I've visited the Aquarium at Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii and seen the beautiful experimental corals they are attempting to grow. So beautiful and such color.

I look forward to looking thru your site and looking at your beautiful photos of the wild corals.

    Thank you.

Welcome to 3reef :) to upload an image try hitting the image button next to the emojis. If it cant upload from facebook, try creating a photobucket account (fast, easy, free)

I could not view the pictures from the link to your FB account either, though I personally don't have an FB account.

    Regardless, Welcome!

Vinny has experience smuggling these corals, that is how he knows.

If these are too large I can shrink them. These would make a nice mold for luxury handcrafted soaps don't you think?

The back side. The shells are about 1.5 by 2.5 inches quite small.

Thank you Dr. KNOW! Wow those photos are of huge corals. The two pieces I have were found on a beach so I thought they were probably sand dwelling coral. The photos are of large brain type corals so I guess what I have is just broken off pieces. Like the wetweb link thank you muchly.
