While going through pictures I came across some of when I 1st set up my 125.It was so nice and clean. I realize now that the back glass makes the whole thing seem not so clean. Does everyone else not clean the back? I know we all clean front and sides. I am thinking of scraping the back now.

I am thinking the same. Mine used to look sooo clean and I love the coraline on my rock work but I think maybe not so much on the back glass anymore.

I only clean the front. Cleaning the back is a lost cause. My tanks is set in a nook so I can't look through the sides anyway so I let the coraline grow.

I kind of like the way the coraline looks but my wife doesn't care for it. She says it looks like a bad skin disease. I think it looks better than a background and blocks the view of cords, overflow, etc...

Only the veiwable sides. Let the back go, it looks like part of the aquascape eventually.

Like pgreef said about hiding the cords, overflow, and it looks better than those tacky posters. Sorry, most posters are ugghh. Plus my sally foot crab climbs up the coraline and she is big.

I have to clean my back glass....or I can't see through it. The short side of the peninsula is not scraped though. :)

The Live Glass look also cuts down on maintenance. How are you going to get back there with the mag cleaner anyway? Would need to use one of the scrubbers on a stick nstead. Then the light fixture will be in the way.
