    Thanks for all the replies. I do have a long-handled scraper to reach it, however. I might just scrape one section and see what it looks like. Or.......maybe put a simple background up to hide it all.

    Otty your the exception, but then again do you clean the side that your plumbing goes through? That would now be your back of your tank do to your setup. Tank still looks great! :thumb_up:

    I use a picture back ground but paint it with black paint - IMO the colours of my inhabitants look great against a dark background - and because its black it does not look dirty
    I dont paint the back of the tank - just in case I want to make changes in future

    I personally love the look of corraline all over the back glass... by far the most natural look you can get. But it is a personal opinion so experiment and see what you like best!!
