    Sorry SushiGirl,just seen this,but yes,when it's happy and fully open,it's a beast,I got it mabey 8 months ago from a fellow 3reefer and it and my toadstools have close to doubled in size.The cabbage has never budded/split or dropped babies,but my toady's have givin me a few.

    Try more flow towards the coral,leathers like stong flow,but not direct flow (meaning don't point a powerhead right at it,but rather around it or over the top of it) I've had them slough for as little as 1 day and sometimes as long as a week or two.But strong flow and good water quality helps keep them happy and open much more often.Otherwise,they're very hardy and easy corals to keep.Carbon should always be ran when having leathers,they release toxins in the water that can irritate other inhabitants in the tank.

    I haven't had either finger leather or either devil's hand leather shed. I was just thinking about that the other day.
