Hey, locally I found out toadstool coral for $25. Is this a good deal? Also it comes with some green polyps as well. My question is in the picture Im about to show you, I notice some Green bubble algae. And I dont want that in my tank, is there a way to get completly rid of them before I buy it?

Also, what do you guys think of the price? It comes on a huge rock with some corals, for $25, but I would hate hate hate to have green bubble algae, I hate them the most lol

Also do you guys think biocube 29 stock lighting can support that?

if there is aptasia in that tank, i would inspect that rock closely before adding it.

pick the bubbles of with tweezers or scrap rock with razor. then rinse rock with some old tank water in a bucket really good, before placing into your DT.

For that size piece, I would say $25 is a good price. My LFS sells them for $60+. I got mine from a fellow 3reefer for $15 but it was a lot smaller than that one. Yes, the stock lighting should be adequate for it. As far as the emerald crab, I've heard it can be hit or miss. If the algae gets too big then the crab won't go after it. Hope this all helps.

It is a great price. Either have the LFS scrub the rock in a bucket before they bag it or you will have to do it yourself at home. I wouldn't let that deter me though and you better get back there!
