    can this coral be placed on the substrate. lighting is 6x54 t5's , 3 ho's and 3 actinics

    I dont see why not....Mine is half way up but I think he would be better off on bottom...how deep is the tank and how tall is the leather....here is mine halfway up a 55 gallon with the same lighting you have....
