Toadstool looks funny..

    Its been in this weird phase or something for several weeks... any idea whats going on?

    The things that extend sometimes just falls off...

    Nice tank!

    It actually looks pretty good, you might try increasing flow to it. It kind of looks like it can not fully expel the waxy coating they get. You can also try using a turkey baster to see if that waxy coating is not shedding.

    I put my return towards it and hopefully this will help it out.. otherwise I don't know what to do.. it never fully extends and only have of them even extend some what..

    How much flow do you have in that tank? Toadstools and many other leathers and soft corals shed periodically and need decent current to help slough of the old skin.

    The first week when I got mine it was looking pretty bad. Now that its been in my tank for a month now it looks great! I did move it around my tank every few days until it looked happy.
