I picked up these two toadstool leathers from my LFS today. The person I normally deal with was not there and a younger girl helped me. She did not know the name or much about them. Can someone tell me what kind they are?

Also, I really like them and would not mind a few more...kinda like a toadstool garden. Are there any rare or sought after toadstools or even other leathers that would look good with them?

i have this kind of toadstool..
    Google Image Result for http://reeffarmers.com/sarchophyton_green.jpg

these arent rare but i think they look better, its look really awesome under my moonlights glowing as it moves with the flow..

your toadstools i think are just yellow white toadstool..and a purple toadstool..i think the yellow toadstools are from australia and they are a little more difficult to care for..i think...but either they both look really good..i think a green toadstool would complete the set...they are also very easy to frag..you just cut a piece off the cap where the polyps are and rubberband or glue it to a frag or rock...toadstools are the best you can buy one and frag a ton of them in your tank or sell some to other people..

plus clowns go crazy in them, i love toadstools, perfect nem replacement..

i got mine from my buddys fish store in baton rouge...

Saltwater Aquarium Corals for Marine Reef Aquariums: Toadstool Mushroom Leather Coral, Green

mine doesnt look exactly like the one from liveaquaria..mine is fluorescent green like the one i showed you first..

i bet if you post a thread on here, and just say looking to buy green toadstool frag, im sure someone will frag you one...or you can just wait a couple months and ill send you a frag of mine, and you can send me a frag of one of yours and we just do a trade...we can do the 15$ 2day shipping when the weather warms a little..

here ya go, heres my little bugger..

but first check our sponsors on the site and see if any of them have any, or if you post a thread maybe one of them will respond..mine was 35$, i didnt have to pay that, but that is what my friend was selling them for, which the online price is good but you gotta pay that extra $$$ for shipping which sucks...

check local fish stores, if they dont have them, they usually can order you one on their next shipment..

oh yeah also toadstools can get very big in a pretty short time, under the right conditions they can double in size in 6-9 months..so depending on your tank size, 3 toadstools may be alot, plus the suck the heck out of strontium from a tank, if you get the green one..

I would definitely be down for a frag swap. I think the yellow one may be a Fiji Yellow Elegans Leather.

Here is a pick of one open

well yeah then when the weather is a little warmer then we can for sure do that..and when we do you can check out my tank thread and ill frag whatever else you want to trade..

when the weather is right im gonna post a huge frag trade thread we can get going on here...buying new corals is overrated when we have 1000 people on here with different things we can trade with..and 15$ for 2day shipping is perfectly ok for a coral to survive..supposedly about 4days for them being in a box is pushing it on health..but have never had a problem with 2day shipping..and i usually have them held at the store to be picked up so they arent bouncing around in the trucks/vans being delivered...never lost a coral to shipping but lost one fish due to a dumb delivery driver..
