So I've had my toadstool for about a week now. When I got it, it was semi-attached to a ceramic piece. Now it has come off of that piece and I was wondering if I should let it reattach itself or if I should glue it down. Any thoughts?

i would give it a hand reattadching. to help it reattach either glue it or if you can get a rubber band around it to hold it on. but not too tight with the band .

Do not glue a Leather, put a toothpick in each side of it and rubberband it to a rock and give it about three weeks to adhere. you cannot glue leathers or mushrooms.

Toothpick through the base with rubber band is the best. Works for frags as well.!

Seriously, just stab a toothpick through the base? I've never fragged corals so I'm just a little uneasy about putting a toothpick through it. So what I'm hearing is to basically make a "T" shape at the base of the stem with a toothpick going through it and then use the ends of the toothpick that are sticking out as anchors to hold the rubber band? Right now, its stem is in a hole in the tubular hole in the rock with the top coming out. You guys don't think that it will anchor itself?

Could you lightly sandwich it between 2 rocks and hold it together with a rubberband?

I could try that. Then would it attach to both of the rocks or just one of them?
