I have a toadstool and it has been mostly closed for over a week now. I was told it was molting, but does it take this long? All other corals and fish are doing great! How could I help my toadstool?

Well the same thing happens with mine, all I did was turn the flow towards him and tried to blow all the dead stuff off him with a turkey Baster, and within hours he was coming back out. Hope this helped!

Mine does that all the time. Just let it be. Sometimes mine even stays in this stage for up to a week. Do not mistake it for being dead!! Haha. It will come back soon! :)

IME toadstools love strong flow..you know not hurricane katrina in your tank, but a good solid swaying flow they really like, and this helps keeps detrius off their cap and irritating them..

Actually, its not good to do that, you dont want to disturb it when its in a shedding process IMO
