So my toadstool has been around for bout yr and a half.

Was good for like 6 mo, then got unhappy, moved around, happy again then unhappy. Recently battled tank conditions not right, corrected, now it's polyp extensions seem longer than I've ever seen, and the tips do have the polyps opening up,

    So crazy

Leathers are a funny coral. They will quickly react to change in flow conditions more than anything. They really do like a lot of flow.

My green toad seems to like just the edge of a high flow right now. Mine won't open his polyps in direct flow.

My yellow Fiji leather loves high flow opens every day. I do think I remember reading that the yellow fijis are different than other leathers

My yellow fiji leather is in high flow and seems very happy. Although if I remember correctly yellow fijis differ in requirements than most other leathers.

I've tried twice and haven't been able to keep a yellow fiji for the life of me. It's really a bummer because it really is one of the only yellow corals you can get.

I'm really looking to get another leather- I miss my Devil's Hand that I used to have.
