Toadstool

I recently bought a toadstool from jacks and it is now bald and is getting thesewhite/brown marks on the sides of it any ideas.

It looks ready to slough its skin - they do this periodically

when it has shed its outer layer of skin, it should return to the flesh colour it had previously and its polyps should extend again

if the above process seems to be taking to long, try increasing the water movement around and over it, as IME the close down and shed skin period is much quicker if the water movement is ideal
