Thought some of you might be losing sleep over this so I wanted to share the news.

The tv show Myth Busters ran a test to determine whether or not bread or toast that has butter, jelly, peanut butter, etc. lands down (meaning the jelly etc. is directly on the floor). Many people believe it has a greater chance of falling this way due to the added weight of the butter, jelly, etc. However, the myth has been busted. It has about a 50-50 chance of landing either way (go figure!). So, you may conclude that when you drop your bread or toast and it lands sticky side down, rest assured that your neighbor's didn't. :D

Ooh, we have a slight variation here as in our home it's only a 4 second rule.

I've decided that because my dog Oliver is quick and naughty I should change mine to the 3 second rule seeing as he moves much faster than me. :D
