So whats the humidity at? like a dew point of 40?

Add a 70 degree dew point to that and the heat index would be off the charts.

Don't get me wrong, 116 is just plain hot, but the low RH is the only thing keeping people alive down there. That and AC;)

ouch i guess i have the hottest tank here. Dangerously hot at that. My tank was at 86 for a few days till i rigged up some fans and got it down to 82-83 which is still alot higher than i want it. Wish I had a chiller, or AC for that matter.

No, it's true, I was just being a sarcastic @$$. Our humidity is never all that high, at least until the monsoon storms start (40-70% humidity, dew point 50-60F, but the high temps come down then to ~105F). This morning, the dew point is 40 and the humidity is 18%. A couple weeks ago we had a record low humidity of 2%. So yes, it is hot, but there's not much moisture. I can't stand humidity, and I do know how much of a difference it makes. I'll keep my desert over that junk. :cheesy:

IN the summer it's always in the 90's here in south fla.. My tank is always at 83-84.. even with the lights off. it's always at 83-84.. Everything looks fine under that temp. But I do get a nice amount of evaporation.
