Thanks, It's also one of my Favs!

    I haven/t seen another one yet I don't think.

I got it from a guy moving, breaking down his tanks. We agreed to meet on the day of his move in a parking lot near his inlaws house!

another example of the KISS method being highly effective. Your tank is so beautiful......I'm glad to hear it's not built and maintained with a complicated system! There's hope for me yet...although I'm sure I could never get my tank to look like yours!

This is me! I find that my tank always does much better if I quit overthinking. One example of this is with dosing. Back in the day, I would test alk and CA every single day and adjust my dosing accordingly. Now I test about once per week and then make a slight adjustment to the amounts I'm dosing. I feel that this has really helped make my system just a bit more stable.

I honestly think you are on the right track with the LR change and substrate change. It's really not that difficult, you just have to be determined.

    Hello all you reefers!

Just a little update, I just added my 39th different specie of Coral!

    A SuperMan Monti!!

Sorry for the poor pic, doesn't do it justice

    It's my 5th Monti!

    It's a small frag only about 1cm x 1.5cm, on a white plug.

I tried to get a close up pic, but all I got was the reflection off the white plug overwelming the picture.
Amazing whoever designed our eyes, optic nerves, neurons, etc., etc. can correct for that, and my Iphone4 can't! (I know there are cameras that can btw)
