Could you sit and watch this DT in your family room, without a TV in it?

I do and really get a lot of enjoyment our of it.

My new 125 is in my living room, with the TV, but I definitely spend more time watching the tank, than the TV. My recliner has a direct view of one of the sides, so even when I do watch my 30 minutes of TV a night, I still am watching the tank equally as much ;)

    Gunna be fun!
Make sure u give urself extra time and prepping is key. Im sure u already know all that though lol
I always had 2 or 3 more containers than I thought I would use and ending up using all of them so might not be a bad idea. Oh and kick the significant other and or kids outa the house for the day lol

Not trying to derail, but I should be getting my new tank this week. Hopefully the stand, sump, and new skimmer will be coming soon after. I have to make a plan similar but obviously on a much smaller scale :) 57 corner to 65 gallon wide. The new one is going into the exact spot as the corner tank. I guess I should start thinking of a plan lol

Thanks for the advice, keep it coming! I've never actually transferred any tnak contents as a whole at one time/day- ever. I've been reading threads, going over ideas, etc. I do have the luxury of my 125 doing well, so I'm not pressured for the transfer. I'm I'm DIYing basically most all of it, so I have to get my overflow on my drilled 180 finalized and built, the stand built, (so far I've picked out the wood for it out of my scrap wood pile, and I have a good plan)
And thanks for the advice on the containers, I do plan to use as many as I can, I do have lots of coral, and 11 fish, etc.
Once the stand and overflow, and new basement plumbing is complete, I'll start picking a day I can get a friend or two to help.

Awesome OFK! We're both going thru a similar type of transfer. We'll have to share notes.
