Not a big fan of BTA's, but yours looks nice and bubbly now. Is that since you added the new light? The Hippo is getting huge.

Thanks Cheryl, There are several right around that large blue tipped green acro on the mid left of the tank. Just to the right is a blue tipeed blue staghorn, right behind is a purple acro, behind that is a semi-large blue Milli, and the pink stylo there also. I know you menat the acros though, so I think the smaller one behind is the purlple acro.- My Iphone4 cam/video doesn't capture the color quite the same as the eyes.
It's kinds nice now that I often frag pieces off these to trade, etc.
The ponape would look even better if I could find a place with a bit lower light- these new LED's are turned way down and still blast things.
In my soon to be trasferred to 180(this spring), I"l have a less bright spot for it.

    Thank you

Thanks Jerry, the BTA has pretty much always done that, some days more than others. I sure wish it would split already!
The Blue Tang is getting big- just in time for the 180 this spring. I'm plan to have the bask wall free of rocks too, so it can do 'laps' if it desires.

Thanks Mindy, Things are doing OK.
No controllers here, no dosing pumps, etc. It's amazing how nice things get when you can keep things relatively stable- and use LOTS of chaeto in the sump. When this tank is my sump for the 180, I plan to at least doubling my chaeto!

Thanks Wayne, I"m sorry you couldn't get the link to work.
I just tried it and it did seem to get stuck early on, I advanced the slider and it played the rest well. Although a vid from my IPhone4 with no editing, it is my best video to date, and is very recent.
PLease try again, and/or PM me and I can send you a link to it also.

    Thanks,

I'm starting to chomp at the bit for the warmer weather so I can perform my
    transfer to my 180.

I picked up a huge piece of rock about 16inches long and kinda wide and flat that I'll incorperate into cy scape.
Also picked up/borrowed a 100G stck tank to use for the transfer.

although it's hard to tell from the weather, spring is right around the corner. I've been hearing the birds chirp :)

Looks great todd. All that growth without expensive lef lighting. Go figure. Looking at your tank makes me wonder why id even consider the new radions.

Thank you all, and thank you for that comment especially!
I'm often not too popular when I do point out the more budget model of full spectrum LED with dimmers- that I can't produce thunderstorms, or a gradual sun up, sun down, and usually comment something like 'but my fish and coral told me they were OK without that!'

My coral are really taking off with these LED's vs my older model, only 2 color non dimmables- that were also growing coral fairly well- at least I thought until I see that these puppies do!
