I just have to say, that is one gigantic mass of Chaeto!!

 

And I just took a gallon of it away earlier this week. You couldn't even tell the difference! It's so massive!

Yes! Yes! THIS, I feel with a few other minor things- is a big part of the key to my semi- success.
I want it to get even larger/bigger!

I now have my older set of Taotronics LED's over the rack portion of my sump, next to the chaeto area.
I also have another LED like this not being used atm. I contemplated putting over my chaeto- but then I said to myself 'Who am I kidding?" Why would a change out what I'm doing now? I get huge chaeto growth with my cheapy aluminum clamp on bulb reflectors and 100W CFL bulbs in each- I"m probably going to add a third reflector/bulb combination to it.

 

Todays upgrade:

Finally made a eggcrate strainer for my RP intake.



Now If/when I need to put a fish in that section, it's protected by wander too close to the big pipe and getting sucked in
