A better pic of my sump
I magfloated some algae once off in front of the chaeto area.
The stand light,k chaeto light, frag light, and room light are on also.

I guess because I recently changed things up some,
I now see some of those small Pineapple Sponges again- these were in the sump

Today I rescued my 'Red Planet' from the grips of my pesky encrusting gorgonean.

The EG is/was on of my first corals. At first, I'd break up the rock it was on and traded it for corals I still have, etc.
But when that rock touches another, as in a scape, after many months, the entire rock is covered and it slowly kills of fthe sps's that are around also.

I pulled a huge U/C shaped rock out of my DT yesterday and rescaped a bit- in the sump/fuge it is.

Today, I removed the whole rock my ORA Red Planet, the base of which is covered in thick EGorg., and it's slowly killing the RP from the base up!
I broke it up, put some frags of it in my sump, and placed the largest piece on some Monti coral skeleton and placed it back in mhy DT- free of EGorg.- Yea.

NOw to slowly rid my DT of this pesky coral- the E. Gorg.

I also have a branching gorgonean that is a good citizen, grows up like a tree and stays put.

Now to slowly eradicate my Green Striped discoma muchrooms too!
Glad I never got any Xenia- cuase early on I would have frown that too!

All in all, things are good at Todd's Reef.

I'll take some pictures tonight - too much window glare presently on the tank panes.

    Thanks.
While almost all my coral started from a small frag,
You'll recall that my 180 is/was a transfer most of my stuff to my 180.
I do appreciate the kinds words, thanks.
