After losing my female Tomato clown to Ich we have been observing my male tomato clow in the DT which is seemingly loving my torch coral is this a possible attempt @ hosting ? He waits for it to open in the morning and then spends the rest of the day flying through its tentacle's.

Should i contemplate acquiring an anemone? i have read they are hard to maintain..

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Honestly he may never even give the anemone a second thought. As long the coral that is hosting the clown is not showing any problems with the relationship it is all good!

Advantages of the torch is they it does not wander into powerheads or overflows as well.

+1 as long as your torch isnt getting irritated by it, you get all the benefits of hosting without the risk of an anemone :) Can you get some pics?

I want a torch coral now! :) I hadn't realized they would hot a torch, but it makes sense, since they will host just about anything.

My fire clowns also host in a torch coral - they did it very quickly too. I was surprised since I had the pair in the aquarium for two months before adding the torch.
    Congrats IMO.
